Guilty Witness
Grocer Stanley Crane (Joe Mantell) and his wife Dorothy (Kathleen Maguire) become suspicious of the tenants upstairs when they are constantly disturbed by their violent arguments and loud noise. Dorothy grows increasingly worried that the neighbour Amelia Verber (Judith Evelyn) has murdered the husband (who is seen briefly at the beginning) after it all goes quiet for a few days. A police sergeant (Robert F. Simon) shows up at the apartment block and starts sniffing around and eventually uncovers the truth. HITCH'S PROLOGUE (- secs):

SPOILERS
The body is found in the basement concealed in the baby's pram. The grocer's wife was planning to run away with the guy upstairs and when Mrs. Verber discovered this she done away with him.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION...
A decent episode though with a small element of predictability to it.
